Anyway..... I've been busy looking for college credit technical writing courses certificate..
WTH?
I know what I want... I got the price..but no break down on how many credits I get for my money and efforts.. or whatever grant I can weasel..
So I look some more..... its a good thing, I can use it, but I already excel in the ability to babble..
I can do this online.... its not like creative writing, I don't need the feed back of a class room that creative input.. this is just intellectual process design by the numbers..
I did get a syllabus..
Technical Communication, Markel
Handbook of Technical Writing, Alred, Brusaw, Oliu
Document Design: A Guide for Technical
Communicators, Kimball
Its a tangle of options..... Open university, online stuff....some have serious weight for a BA degree and mean 19 or so credits... My big issue is cost per credit. transferability and can I get it at a lower level..
Community college..$60 per credit hour.... University $120 and up..... I keep thinking over $200 but it varies...
ASU has some scholarships, internships and fun stuff.... that must be mulled over...
I still have the slavery option where I go into Americorps there-by earning get a stipend and tuition .. which isnt bad... be teaching first aid and the CERT program.. and it all works...
I hate not having money, not being able to say "how much and when do I start?" as I count out the tuition then an there...
